Peter Mann

Peter was tasked with helping myself and my brother sell our parent's dated family home in Mote Ranch. To make it even more challenging, I reside in Connecticut and my brother was a first-time home seller. We were both on the deed and requested Peter keep us each in the loop equally.From the get-go, Peter, stepped up and kept us both apprised of the incoming offers, the status of the transaction once an offer was accepted, and ultimately the closing process all in a very timely and professional manner. We are grateful and appreciative of Peter’s knowledge and attention to detail. And who knows? We may require Peter’s, and the Michael Saunders team, assistance regarding another real estate transaction in the near future. We would certainly welcome the opportunity.

We had no intent of buying another home when we decided to enjoy the Florida weather for the winter of 2020/2021. Our plans were to rent a small condo in Nokomis as we never really spent much time on the Gulf. We thought we'd travel thru Florida and perhaps years down the road, we might settle for another place to call home. Venice grabbed our hearts. We strolled thru the Farmer's Market one Saturday in January and noticed the MSC office. The only reason that we stopped in was that we noticed Micheal Saunders's reality signs everywhere! We needed a booklet as we had no idea about the market, the area, prices, etc.. I believe the only person in the office that afternoon was Mr. Peter Mann. Peter has an amazing ability to listen. In minutes, he knew exactly what my wife and I required in yet another house. In fact, I remember him saying specific communities that he would be interested in if he were purchasing a home and one of those suggestions is where we were drawn to: Sawgrass! Peter is persistent, always available and extremely knowledgeable. He never quits. He loves his job and, more importantly, the people he meets along the way. Not only do we have a beautiful Florida home because of Peter, but my wife Susan and I have forever friends with Peter and Terry Mann.

Last Fall, I and my partner Sam decided to sell our home in Asheville, NC and relocate to Florida. We didn’t know anyone so we began contacting some real estate agents and trying to communicate what we were looking for. After two failed attempts with agents that weren’t really listening to us, we reached out to some Florida friends. That is how we were referred to Peter Mann. We hit it off right away and took a trip down in early January to familiarize ourselves with the Sarasota market. We hadn’t expected to make any offers; we hadn’t even listed our Asheville home yet!Peter picked us up at our hotel and spent the next few days showing us around and looking at homes. On day 3 we happened upon a place near the UTC mall and knew it was exactly what we were looking for. Peter helped us through it all. First introducing us to Lou Davis at MSC Mortgage. Then Alice Clark at MSC Title. Everyone was most helpful and professional. In fact because of the long-distance move we even closed on the new home electronically and with the help of Federal Express. I cannot say enough good things about all three of them! It made what could have been a stressful experience into a very easy process. Thanks for having such a well-run organization and having some great folks working there!

Peter helped me with the sale of my home in Nokomis and he surprised me on several occasions with his willingness to go above and beyond his rudimentary duties. Peter brought over a power washer and sprayed off my dock himself. He then left the machine so that I could clean my driveway at my leisure. He also helped to clean out my garage as we approached the closing date. Everything he did was with foresight, alacrity, and with the express intention to ensure that everyone was content at the closing. As I was driving north to my native State of Wyoming after the closing, I developed severe headaches that prohibited me from driving. I had stopped to seek medical attention and testing in Sarasota and in the interim, Peter had called, so I informed him of my condition. Since I had sold my home, I had nowhere to stay. Peter insisted that I stay with him indefinitely until I was able to get care and drive home. Understand that I had only known Peter for less than a month and that he completely opened his home to me until I was improved. He drove me to the hospital, the pharmacy, and to doctor appointments. He and his lovely wife Terri cooked for me. I was overwhelmed by his concern and his generosity. I am back in Wyoming and still working on the headaches which appear to be the result of a cerebral spinal fluid leak and Peter still calls to check on my progress. I have made an unintentional, but a fast and great friend in Peter just from selling my house.

I cannot say enough good things about Michael Saunders and specifically the Team of Peter Mann and Tammy Kitt. We bought our property in Venice Florida during the height of the real estate bubble and found ourselves in an upside down situation. We had to move from Florida in 2006 due to employment but could not sell at that time. In October of 2017 we found that we were in a position to sell. We were lucky enough to meet Peter and Tammy who guided us through the process which for us was a bit long. We were in CT and they took care of each and every detail, ensuring that the property was taken care of. Finding and meeting vendors for any issues we had along the way. It took us over a year to sell our property, we never thought for even a second to change realtors because we knew that Peter and Tammy were doing all they could (and more) to sell our property and make sure that we were happy with the end result. I'm honestly not sure how we would have made it through the process without them!

Peter Mann, was the man! I believe professionals are good if they care, and Peter cares. Considering we purchased the home without seeing it --- Peter insisted we do a face time review - we found the home was better than we expected when we actual got there. Now we just got to get to Florida more often. Peter also sold our prior home in Venice, in days. Again, a pleasant outcome. I definitely will refer Peter and your firm to all I have the opportunity to do so.
